Frequently Asked Questions

Why did I receive a letter from your agency?
If you received a letter from our agency, it is most likely because based on our research, we believe that you might be entitled to unclaimed funds that are being held in the State of Florida.
   Is your service legitimate?
Yes it is. The Bureau of Unclaimed Property within the State of Florida has many agencies like ours that are registered with them. By sending you a letter, we are informing you regarding these funds, and offering you our services to ease the recovery process for you.
How much will your services cost me?
Our service fee varies case by case. But you will see what the fee is upon receiving a letter from our agency. It is also worth mentioning, that you will never be required to make a payment to us. We will only get paid our fee, if the claim we make is successful.
How long does the process take?
This is another one of those case by case scenarios. It all depends on how quickly we can get all the documents from you. Once everything is received, the State of Florida will have approximately 60-90 days to review the claim. You are more than welcome to give us a call during our business hours, so we can give you a status on your claim.
How does the payment process work?
Once the state approves your claim, they will release two checks. One to you, and another to us. The amount you receive will be the same amount listed on the Limited Power of Attorney that you signed from us. Feel free to give us a call during our business hours to request a status on your claim or to verify how much money you will be getting back.
What do I do if i received a letter from a different agency with a lower fee?
Call us! It is hard for us to see what other agencies are listing as their fees. So if you received a lower offer and would like to proceed with our firm, we can promise you that we will match or beat their offer. Just give us a call so we can make the adjustments and send you a new agreement.
